Do you know what the Gay Panic Defense is? Did you know that violent crimes against a queer person can be considered the result of “temporary insanity due to homosexual panic”. Many people have got off of hate crimes due to the Gay Panic Defense, and though it seems to be based on sexual advances by a queer person, the case is often the queer person was just in the same vicinity of the attacker. There is no defense for hate crimes, this is a cop out by the judicial system once again taking the fascists side. If you get caught being violent to a bigot, just claim Bigot Panic Defense, “their prejudice advances just sent me into a violent fury! I couldn’t help myself!”.

The article details the first week of life of a set of twins. Apparently each were in their respective incubators and one was not expected to live. A hospital nurse fought against the hospital rules and placed the babies in one incubator. When they were placed together, the healthier of the two, threw an arm over her sister in an endearing embrace. The smaller baby’s heart stabilized and temperature rose to normal.
